The type of value that time many people make mistakes
"By late afternoon time that people are suffering, except those who believe and do righteous deeds enjoined on each other truth, and enjoined on each other patience!" (Surah Al 'Asr ", verses 1-3)
Time - this is one of the most expensive favors that Allah Almighty gave their slaves.Despite this, some people do not understand the value of time, do not use it due to the impact, and as a result suffer losses themselves. The only exceptions are those who believe and do righteous deeds enjoined on each other truth, and patience, commanded people to do good and beware of their evil deeds. They never suffer losses.
Use in this verse the word "Asr" mufassir interpreted in different ways and how early evening, and as the afternoon prayer (ikende), and as the time in a general sense, and as the century of Muhammad (peace be upon him) The word "Asr" encompasses all of these. values, but at the same time, the meaning and content of this sura is most suited to "absolute time". (Tabari "Dzhamiul-Beyal Ta'vilil Al-Qur'an", XII / 684-685). Consequently, the expression "By late afternoon time that people are suffering" can be translated as, "By the time people are suffering."
Fakhraddin Razi in commentary to implement this verse says: "In terms of the ability to appreciate the time people will certainly incur expenses and will not be able to protect themselves from this harm. After all the losses - a loss of capital and capital in this case - it is human life. Very rare such moments when he does not spend his life in vain. And if a person spends his life in sin, then he is a big loss.
One of our pious predecessors said: "The true meaning of the sura" Asr "I learned from a merchant who sold ice in the market.This man came to the market in the morning, and cried: "Pity the man whose capital is melting before your eyes!" When I heard his words, then said to himself: "This is what the verse means that the people are suffering. After all, this man's life is melting every moment, as if the ice on a hot afternoon at the market. " If a person knowingly conduct their lives without gaining anything of value to his soul, or will spend his life on the wrong track, and so'll waste precious time, the result would be the loss of bitterness. "
Hazrat Prophet (peace be upon him) in many hadiths also urged people to appreciate the details of Allah material and spiritual goods, and among them particularly noted the time: "There are two kinds of benefits with the value of which are wrong, many people: health and free time." (Bukhari, "Rikak" 1; Tirmidhi, "Zuhdi," 1).
"Learn to appreciate the five things before five others: life before death, health before the arrival of disease-free time before the employment, youth to old age, wealth, before the arrival of poverty." (Bukhari, "Rikak" 3; al-Tirmidhi, "Zuhdi," 25).
Undoubtedly, ahead of the other in the material and spiritual progress, technologies and cultures, competition can only be properly appreciating the capital of time.Those who do not know how to use their time to properly return or does waste it, will not have the power of technical, cultural superiority, economic independence. Since the biggest obstacle on the path to success and progress is a waste, Israfil time.
Nowadays, many complain about the lack of time. Those who neither ask, all in no time.Due to the fact that we have been unnecessary and useless things, and often did spend time doing nothing, we have no time for such things, which really are vital.
Let us not forget that many things can make up lost, you can re-earn the capital, a person may eventually acquire great wealth, but he will not be able to return the misspent time, can not make up their life capital, which he spent aimlessly. This is best stated in the folk proverbs and sayings: "Time is money -" "Time brings money, but time is money can not buy."
For this reason, Allah Almighty at the beginning of the surah "Asr" swears by time and thus draws attention to the importance of the time in human life. The Lord reminds us that the bitter disappointment awaits those who spends his life the capital, on useless things, unbelief and sinful. And in the continuation said that will not suffer damage, those who know the value of time and uses it to make useful things. It lists the characteristics of these people. They believe, do righteous deeds enjoined on each other truth, and patience, commanded people to do good and beware of their evil deeds.
In this case, the way to salvation in this world and in the Hereafter goes through proper estimate of the time and spending it for the fulfillment of our religious duties.
