The life of Jesus is known thanks to the Gospels, which present as a Messiah Pacific, away from antirromana and violent language from the time in which he lived.

On the eve of Easter, Jesus celebrated a supper with the Apostles. This celebration became the Foundation on which is based the Christian sacrament of the Eucharist, which continued to be realized in early Christianity and follows as the central ritual of the Christian mass to this day: the communion.

The Apostles were 12, as the tribes of Israel. Their names appear in the Gospels in different places, as in the following text of the Gospel of Matthew (10, 2-4):

The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, to what they call Peter and his brother Andrew; Santiago, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew, and Matthew, the Bundler; James, son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus, Simon and Judas, called the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, was what turned him in.

Very similar if recounts this episode in Mark 3, 1 3-19 and Luke 6, 1-2 16 . The great similarity between the three fragments can be explained as a consequence of the three Synoptic gospels drink from a common source before.
