10 advantages of Friday prayers

Friday is a special day in the Muslim week. Perhaps Allah sent her his blessing to the faithful that every week can enjoy a holiday of worship, finding rest and giving himself to God.

In one hadith it reads: "Day" Juma "coincides with the day in Paradise, which is called al-Mazid, which means" addition, additives ". And it is characterized by the fact that on this day the inhabitants of Paradise will be collected and contemplate his Lord, Glorious and Exalted is He. They will see his own eyes, and there will be nothing for them more desirable in Paradise than the arrival of the day Friday to once again contemplate His Liko and once again honor his generosity, which He bestows upon His slaves on that day. "
This day has many advantages and blessings to those who turn to Him. Friday prayer is fard. This is one of the most outstanding qualities of Islam.
  1. Allah ta'ala says in the Qur'an:
"O you who believe! When the call to prayer at the Friday day, then rush to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. It would be better for you if you only knew "(62: 9).
In this verse, "remembrance" is reduced to the Friday prayer and khutba. "Flock" means that the believer should be taken with caution and trepidation.
  1. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever performs a full body bath - ghusl on Friday, most purifies himself, lubricates the hair oil, uses perfume and then goes to the mosque and sat down there, not pushes people at the same time, it takes the maximum number of additional prayers and during the sermon is silent, the sins of the previous Friday will be forgiven for such a person to date. "
  2. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is bathed on Friday and early go to the mosque on foot (and not in a cart), listening to the sermon and while she did not commit stupid things, that every step will receive this award if he served God for a year , fasted and prayed for the year year. "
  3. Hazrat Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah said that they had heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "People should not miss Friday prayers. If they neglect this warning, the Almighty Allah will seal their hearts and they will become very careless. "
  4. "Whoever leaves the Friday prayers three times in a row, ignoring it, the heart that is sealed by God, that is. E. Not enter into his heart the true faith." In another hadith it says that Allah is displeased with such a person.
  5. Tariq bin Shihab narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Friday prayers with the congregation - it is a duty which is wajib for every Muslim except for 4 people: slaves, women, immature boy, patient."
  6. Ibn Abbas (peace be upon him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever without good reason misses Friday prayers, he is recorded as a hypocrite in the book, which is protected from change."
In other words, such a person is a hypocrite. But he can repent or God in His mercy will forgive him.
  1. Hazrat Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Friday prayer is obligatory for those who believe in God and the Day of Judgment except the sick, travelers, women, children and slaves. If people turn away from prayer, and will be engaged in unnecessary affairs or trade, then Allah Almighty will turn away from him and would not have to worry about it. And all praise be to Allah! "
In other words, God is self-sufficient and does not affect the worship, not harm and no benefit. He is unchangeable and does not depend on the worship of his creatures.
  1. Hazrat Ibn Abbas said that a man who has missed several consecutive Friday prayers, turned away from Islam.
  2. One man asked Ibn Abbas about the deceased who have not committed Juma and Jamaat prayer: "What do you say to such a man," He replied: "This man is in Hell." The man asked Ibn Abbas the same question for months, for which he received the same answer.
