Islam Patience-The first type of Defense

Patience is truly a virtue with which only a few have been blessed. 'Sabr' is the Arabic word for patience, which prevent, restrict or restrain means. More accurately taken, it means to withhold the soul before panic, anger, or greed, to restrict the complaints of the tongue and to protect the body from evil deeds.

It is however difficult to stand, a living being, of prosperity or welfare whether the loss of unpredictable events indifferent to.However, should we remind us that none of us will go through life unscathed. Allâh says (in the approximate meaning):"We have created man Yes (to live) in the hardship." (Sûrah 90:4)

If you are armed with this knowledge, it will be easier for the true servants of Allah, to engage in difficult situations in patience.Patience is required while keeping the commandments laid down by Allâh and bans.

The rewards from Allâh are those who acquire this rare property.Allâh promises, saying: "Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account." (Sûrah 39:10)

However, the Erlangen and practicing patience is no easy task.As the man tends to do, stating that his manner, you need patience, to obey Allâh and to resist his lust.

We are inclined by our mere predisposition to convenience and ease. We like no submission, discipline and hard work. Therefore it requires patience to properly exercise the various tasks and duties, the Allâh of us wishes.

No one wants to put his life in danger. As a result, it requires a lot of patience to fight for Allah's will on a battlefield. When the nights are cold, would we inside cuddle us better in our warm comfortable beds as to stand up to the prayer. Thus every day, you need patience to consolidate the prayer in our lives.

Our other heavily guarded treasures include sleep, food, and prosperity. For this reason, Allâh made the payment of the Zakâ (alms) mandatory. Us even leave would that not even one cent of their wealth away most of us or give away a bite of food.

As well, you need patience, to fight against our ego and to reach the level for which Allâh created us. In this fight against our low self, the best weapon that the worshipers of Allah can have is patience. We love to hoard possession and hate to leave, but Allâh says:

"Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not." (Sûrah 2:216)

You also need patience to keep prohibited items. Those of us who live in the West, know that the society of full of forbidden things is just a phone call, a drive, or even just a mouse click we are away.

We see our non-Muslim neighbors and work colleagues generous things participate, which Allâh has forbidden and only the patience helps us to restrain our desire. This said the Messenger of Allah: "The earthly world is the prison of the believers and the paradise of the infidels." (Muslim)

Therefore we should surround ourselves with other Muslims, because this gives us in fact lots of power. If we try to live publicly, taking part in the Haram, alone among the infidels our patience on the hardest way will be verified and it will be all the more difficult to keep Satan. Allâh say: "holding you patiently back, together with those who every morning and evening call on their Lord, the desire for his face. ..." (Sûrah 18:28)

We are also called to confront difficult situations with patience and self-control. If someone came to us with the news that we had lost something or someone, we should bear this patiently and not with tantrums, panic, or great despair.

How important it is to show patience, from the outset after a disaster is in the dictum of Anas Ibn Mâlik explains in which he says: "the Prophet once passed on a woman, who cried at a tomb." He told her she should fear Allâh and be patient. She answered him: "go away! You were not afflicted by a disaster such as mine. She had not recognized him. Later informed her that that's the Prophet of Allah had been. That's why she went to his house. There was no guard in front of the House. She went in after it had been allowed her to enter the House, turned to him and said: "I didn't recognize you. "He said: Verily the patience begins with the arrival of an accident." (Al Bukhari)

The accident is only a test of Allah. True happiness can be found only through trials and temptations, and thereby also the sweetness of the Imâns (faith/belief). Also a source of great reward can be difficult to resist and a means to wash himself of sins inside.

Allâh tells us: "and we will most certainly with a little fear and hunger and lack of ownership, souls and fruits check." But good news announce the steadfast, if it meets an accident, saying: "we belong to Allâh and to him we return." They are blessings be bestowed upon them by their Lord, and mercy, and they are the rightly guided." (Sûrah 2:155-157)

The Messenger of Allah said: "for every misfortune that the Muslim attacks, wipes out Allâh a sin, or something less even if it's the bite of a thorn." (Al Bukhari)

As Muslims, we should try us to remember that everything is impermanent in this life.

No matter what difficulties we have, they will happen, because Allâh promises:"so of course, the difficulty is relief, certainly, with difficulty relief." (Sûrah 94:5-6)

So let's strive to be, like those patient servant of Allah Servant, the Prophet Ayûb (job) same, who weeping said: "And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful." (Sûrah 21:83)

In return, Allâh promises: "Except for those who are patient and do righteous deeds; those will have forgiveness and great reward." (Sûrah 11:11)
